Exporting completed pictures

Fireworks saves pictures in the .png format. If you want standard .gif or .jpg formats you need to export your work.

1. From the FILE menu choose EXPORT PREVIEW
   
2. For line drawings choose GIF, for photo quality choose JPEG as the Format.
3. Click the button at the bottom of the Export Preview screen
4. Type the name of your file:
